As an Application Manager at PwC, you'll support a broad range of business-critical applications and platforms. You'll work with modern technologies such as Azure and Databricks, contribute to digital transformation initiatives, and combine hands-on technical work with a strong focus on the user experience. This is what you'll do
You'll join the IFS Technology team, an inclusive and collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and continuous improvement are part of the daily way of working. Together, we make sure that the applications our colleagues rely on every day run smoothly, securely, and reliably. In this role, you'll support and optimize a variety of business applications and platforms, ensuring high availability and a seamless experience for users across the firm. You'll work in an agile setting, closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other IT teams to keep our application landscape future-proof. Your concrete responsibilities include:
- Providing second-line support: troubleshooting incidents and resolving technical or functional issues efficiently;
- Supporting cloud-based platforms such as Azure and contributing to stable, secure, and scalable application environments;
- Assisting with data-related platforms and solutions, including data analytics environments and Databricks;
- Helping safeguard IT security by following best practices, monitoring risks, and supporting secure application operations;
- Maintaining documentation, sharing knowledge, and contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across the support landscape.

You combine strong analytical skills with a customer-oriented mindset. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Furthermore, you bring:
- An HBO level of thinking and working;
- Experience in IT application support, service desk, or a similar technical support role;
- Knowledge of business applications, incident management, and problem-solving processes;
- Familiarity with SQL, databases, Windows environments, or enterprise applications;
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and commitment to delivering quality support.
