As a Senior Embedded Engineer, you will work on the design, realization and integration of solutions for complex systems, mostly close to the hardware. You will be involved in every stage of development, translating customer ideas into a tangible, high-quality and reliable solution. Your responsibilities include:

1. Bringing up custom hardware
2. Designing and integrating solutions on embedded systems, conforming to regulations
3. Executing root-cause analysis
4. Improving existing solutions for quality, efficiency and performance
5. Applying the V-cycle methodology to translate customer requirements into solutions
6. Working with micro-controllers and processors, interfaces and communication protocols
7. Assisting your colleagues in their daily work
8. Staying up to date with emerging technologies and applying them where relevant
9. Communicating clearly and effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration

You have:

1. Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Embedded Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
2. At least 7 years of professional experience in Embedded engineering
3. Strong experience in embedded engineering and software design
4. Ability to translate customer requirements into efficient technical solutions
5. Strong problem-solving and software troubleshooting skills
6. Knowledge and experience using C-code, modern C++ like C++17 or 20

1. Building, deploying and working with bootloaders
2. Building, deploying and working with operating systems for embedded devices such as Linux, Zephyr
3. Knowledge and experience using Python, Rust
4. Experience using embedded processors/controllers such as STM32/ESP32/i.MX RT/iMX6/8
5. Experience using Makefiles, Bash, or other scripting languages
6. Debugging complex problems, originating in hardware and/or software
7. Knowledge of buses I2C, SPI, Ethernet, CAN or alike and their protocols
8. Experience in security hardening techniques in operating systems (secure boot, TPM)
9. Knowledge of safety compliances
