The jobIn a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, Cefetra relies on a strong legal foundation to support its ambitions. As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice and support on commercial and corporate matters, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will maintain accurate corporate housekeeping, act as a trusted advisor to business units, and play a key role in contract negotiations and risk management. This position also offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in complex transactions and actively contribute to strategic projects across the organization.
Your responsibilities- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (including supply, service, and distribution contracts, NDAs, and transaction documentation).
- Advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance requirements.
- Supporting dispute resolution and managing claims, in collaboration with external counsel where necessary.
- Assisting in corporate governance matters and regulatory filings.
- Contributing to strategic projects such as joint ventures, financing, and M&A transactions.
- Maintaining and optimizing the insurance portfolio, including efficient claims handling.

Requirements- You hold a law degree.
- You bring at least 4 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, ideally gained within an international business environment.
- You have a proven track record in contract negotiation and regulatory compliance. Proven experience with corporate housekeeping is considered a plus.
- You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal skills; proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
- You are proficient in MS Office and enthusiastic about exploring and expanding the use of AI within the Legal Department’s workstream.
