We are looking for a manager Corporate Communications & Marketing

Are you an all-round corporate communications manager with a keen eye for marketing and understands how the two can reinforce each other? Do you feel at home among driven professionals, do you have a clear vision on communication and marketing in the business services sector? Then NLO is looking for you!

What will you do?

With the compact and enthusiastic team of colleagues, you are responsible from A to Z for the development and implementation of NLO's Corporate Communication Policy. Together with your department, you contribute to NLO's strategic objectives and do so in close cooperation with stakeholders such as the Management Team, HR and Sector Leaders.

You strengthen NLO's brand and reputation, you advise the Management Team on internal and external communication issues and also determine corporate communication and labour market communication in collaboration with colleagues from HR. For NLO's business teams, you function as an advisor, are a connecting factor between departments and MT and support the marketing and business development activities of the sectors.

In your role, you are not only manager and sparring partner of your team, but you also act as cooperating foreman as you work together with the professionals in your team.

You monitor schedules and budgets and encourage your direct colleagues to get the best out of themselves.

Your professional qualities and skills

You are a pleasant and approachable person who manages with sensitivity and has an eye for connection. As an experienced manager, you are used to quickly grasp the dynamics of organisations and have an good dose of organisational sensitivity. In addition, you are able to fathom intercultural differences and challenges and distinguish main issues from side issues. You keep a sharp eye on results and objectives and know how to motivate others to contribute to them. Your decisive approach in projects also ensures focus and quality.

Requirements

• HBO+/WO education, in communication and/or marketing
• Very extensive work experience in a comparable position, preferably within an international business service provider;
• Experience in leadership and (project) management;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics.
