Edge Deals Trainee (start 1 September 2026)
Are you a talented student in the final phase of your studies? Or have you just successfully completed your university master's degree? Are you eager to apply your M&A knowledge in practice? Then the PwC Edge Deals Traineeship is the right choice for you, a flying start to your career.
What you will do
The Edge Deals traineeship gives you the opportunity to develop into an all?'round (international) deals consultant within one and a half years. During this period, you will have the chance to work within three of the nine different competencies, or start within one fixed department. This allows you to gain experience and broaden your understanding of the challenges that arise at different stages of a transaction process. In addition, a tailor?'made learning & development programme will be created for you to help develop your leadership and soft skills.
PwC Deals holds a strong, leading market position in the Netherlands and consists of approximately 300 professionals. PwC Deals (NL) is part of a broader European and global network of PwC firms, enabling cross?'border deals activities. The experience and knowledge of thousands of Deals professionals worldwide is embedded in our work. The international network also offers international exchange opportunities for our Edge trainees after their two?'year trainee programme.
You recognize yourself in this
- You take initiative, communicate clearly and enjoy working collaboratively. You can prioritize, stay accurate, and work purposefully toward clear results - even under tight deadlines.
- You hold a university master's degree in Finance, Business, (Business) Economics or a field within the natural sciences, technology, data, engineering or mathematics (completed before your start date).
- Above?'average academic results, supplemented by relevant extracurricular activities.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; and a foundation in financial analysis, valuation or comparable analytical or technical methodologies.
- Curiosity for technological developments and an interest in working with modern tools and data?'driven solutions, including AI, to work smarter and generate better insights.
- Interest in strategic topics, finance, and mergers & acquisitions.
- Fluent in English.
