What are you going to do?

As a project manager, you are the linchpin between our customers and the internal development team. You are responsible for all technical, organisational, financial and qualitative aspects of your projects. From the quotation phase — including assumptions, concept development, risk analysis, time budget and planning — to successful delivery to the customer: you maintain an overview.

You monitor and report on progress, proactively intervene in bottlenecks and ensure that your project remains within the set parameters. Clear communication with the customer, strong leadership of your team and good coordination within Demcon are essential in this regard. You will be part of the Life Sciences & Health project management team in Best, which currently consists of four experienced project managers. You will also work closely with colleagues from other Demcon branches. Our project teams are multidisciplinary and vary in size from 5 to 25 FTE.

At Demcon Life Sciences & Health, you will work on medical and biotechnological product innovations for a wide range of customers — from regional start-ups to international market leaders. Your work will contribute directly to solutions that matter.

What do you bring to the table?

You are an experienced project manager with a solid technical foundation and a passion for product development in Life Sciences & Health. You know how to inspire a team and organise a project efficiently. You also recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a completed technical university degree.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a (technical) project leader or project manager in product development, preferably within the medical or biotechnology sector.
• You combine empathy with persuasiveness and know how to motivate and engage your team.
