We are searching for you as our brand new Kitchen Logistic Operator for Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel (Badhoevedorp)
As our Kitchen Logistic Operator, you play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of all back-of-house operations. You are responsible for keeping the stewarding department in top shape, managing stock, supplies, and equipment, and making sure everything flows seamlessly behind the scenes.
You’ll be working closely with the kitchen team, suppliers, and other departments, making sure all deliveries, storage areas, and rented materials (like crockery or buffet setups) are well organized and handled with care.
Please note that this role also involves physical tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
Your responsibilities include:Managing stewarding tasks and cleanliness of kitchen materials
Organizing storages, supplies, and the loading dock
Handling delivery and return of rented items
Supporting the kitchen with necessary tools and materials
Working with the team to keep everything safe, clean, and well-maintained
Proven experience as an Kitchen Logistic Operator or similar role in a hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, sanitation practices, and health & safety regulations.
Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, and other relevant food safety standards.
Basic computer literacy for record-keeping and reporting.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed..
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position,
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays.
Physically demanding role; ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
