We're looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our core infrastructure team. You will be working on a mature, fully automated infrastructure stack that helps millions of individuals find the right job fit. In this role you’ll get to:

1. Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
2. Push for more Continuous Delivery principles in service deployments.
3. Collaborate with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
4. Develop and hack tools and services to drive monitoring, analysis, and remediation.
5. Maintain our environment, including staying up to date with the latest industry best-practices and technologies.
6. Be willing to take part in our on-call rotation.
7. Automate everything possible.

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud vendors like AWS or Azure.
2. Strong knowledge of Linux, automation and open-source tooling in this space.
3. Experience with IaC tools, preferably Terraform.
4. Experience working with container orchestration and service discovery platforms like Nomad and Consul.
5. Excellent skills in building observability tooling and operationalizing metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Demonstrable experience working with the Hashistack.
2. Comfortable writing up Python for automation and small apps.
3. Good written and interpersonal skills, and documentation skills.

This is a hybrid position. We are looking for candidates based in the Netherlands within commutable distance to Amsterdam. Relocation or visa sponsorship will NOT be offered.
