IT Security Consultant - Germany

Our Cybersecurity Competence Center is strategically headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. With established teams in Germany and across the EU, we continuously and strategically develop our international presence. For our growing team, we are seeking an Information Security Consultant (m/f/d), preferably based in the DACH region (ideally in southern Germany), with the opportunity to work remotely.

As an Information Security Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting strategic threat modeling, risk assessments, and compliance audits. You will advise, train, and support companies in complex areas of information security and relevant security standards. Your tasks include:

• Conducting consulting assignments in the field of information security and compliance
• Performing assessments based on recognized control frameworks or specific frameworks used by B.V. Cybersecurity, such as Gap Assessments, Security Maturity Reviews, Threat Modelings, and Risk Assessments
• Supporting organizations in implementing ISMS and CSMS in accordance with relevant standards
• Active participation in the development of new services

We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience in IT security, a special focus on information security, and knowledge of information security concepts. You should have sound knowledge of international information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIS2 Directive, BSI Basic Protection, or similar compliance frameworks. Native German skills and excellent English competencies are required.
