Medior/Senior Software Developer - STIP

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, thrives in a small team, and has experience in the financial industry as part of a committed and passionate team.

STIP (Solution to Investment Processing) is a trading and administration platform used by asset managers, brokers, and private banks. It enables users to manage securities orders, cash movements, and portfolios efficiently in one system. STIP supports multiple currencies and a variety of securities, including shares, bonds, and investment funds. The platform integrates with other financial systems, such as portfolio management and reporting tools, allowing users to work accurately and stay fully in control.

As a Software Developer, you will work on the further development, optimization, and maintenance of STIP. This includes:

• Developing new features and functionalities in a cloud-based environment.
• Working with serverless architectures and AWS services.
• Collaborating in a small, agile team to keep the application scalable, secure, and future proof.
• Providing input on technical architecture and improvements.

You will work closely with colleagues within AFS Group and external partners, in a dynamic financial environment where innovation and reliability are key.

• At least Medior level (3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer).

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions, especially AWS Lambdas.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experienced in: SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena.
• Bonus points if you have worked with: Quicksight and/or CloudWatch.
• Experience with Python and/or Playwright is a plus.
• Nice-to-have certificates: AWS solutions architect associate/professional and AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with financial protocols, for example FIX.
• Good communication skills in English.
