You will be a role model within Quin, playing a key role in the development of our platform. Collaborate closely with other Engineering Managers, software engineers, and Products to define a comprehensive long-term technical roadmap.

Your responsibilities include mentoring less experienced engineers and fostering a strong engineering culture by setting software engineering best practices both within and beyond your business vertical. Partner with product teams to contribute to the evolution of our technology landscape, ensuring alignment with Quin's overarching goals.

You will also focus on:

Guiding Software Architecture: Lead the design and evolution of our software architecture, ensuring that it remains robust, scalable, and maintainable as we grow.
Driving Best Practices: Champion practices like Test Driven Development (TDD), Domain Driven Design (DDD), and Clean Architecture throughout the engineering team.
Reviewing Codes: Play a pivotal role in maintaining code quality by selectively checking merge requests and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Mentoring & Coaching: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to our engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

If you are a Principal Engineer with:

• Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong background in Java, with a deep understanding of its ecosystems.
• Proven track record in Clean Architecture, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Forward-thinking perspective addressing scaling, usage, and business needs beyond current horizons.
• Proficiency in tackling complex architectural challenges and applying architectural standards to new projects.
• Demonstrated ability to coach engineering teams and drive technical excellence.

You feel comfortable learning, coaching, and gaining a different set of skills. And you are not overwhelmed when colleagues challenge the status quo and make suggestions. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
