How you'll help usAs a Supply Chain Consultant - Operations and Analytics, you will focus on analyzing complex customer cases and implementing actionable results across the entire supply chain, with emphasis on logistics operations (warehouse and transport) and network optimisation.

Why the role is importantThe NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting team applies advanced analytics including large‑scale optimisation, simulation, and machine learning to design and implement high‑performance supply chains that support business strategies and enable our customers to adapt to changing market conditions while improving the bottom line.
Our professionals work closely with leading companies’ internal supply chain professionals to develop and implement change that improves cost efficiency and service levels, increasing the supply chain’s contribution to overall business effectiveness.
Once you are here, you will- Work closely with a Senior Manager or Manager within the Supply Chain Design, Analytics & Operations team.
- Deliver analysis‑driven Supply Chain advisory services to our clients according to the project goals, and work closely with the project manager and other team members on successful project execution.
- Interface with the client to acquire business data, information and insight.
- Develop effective and polished presentation material from analysis results and support the project manager during presentations to the client.
- Use excellent communication skills to develop and maintain positive client relationships.
- Manage client expectations and deliverables and balance them with company demands to consistently deliver expected results.
- Additional primary duties will depend on the project scope and the candidate’s specific role within the team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in operations, logistics, supply chain, industrial engineering, science, technology, math, business, or related major.
- 3+ years of experience with emphasis on Supply Chain, logistics operations, warehouse automation, transformation and process excellence, transport procurement and optimisation, Transport Management System implementation.
- 2+ years of working experience in (operations) consulting and/or a project‑based role.
- 2+ years of experience in using quantitative tools to analyse business data (e.g. SQL, KNIME, R, Python and other data analytical tools).
- Willing and able to travel based on project location and/or client demand.
- Consulting experience.
- Exposure to Supply Chain modeling environments (e.g. Coupa Supply Chain Guru, BlueYonder Supply Chain Strategist, Optilogic, Aimms, or similar).
- Exposure to Transport Management Systems (e.g. Blue Yonder, Oracle, Alpega, Tesisquare, or similar).
- Exposure to Warehouse Automation and/or Management Systems (e.g. Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent language skills (Dutch and English fluency).

Place of workYour usual place of work will be in your home office in the Netherlands, with the expectation of visiting NTT DATA’s office in Den Bosch from time to time as well as travelling based on project location and/or client demand.
