In the corporate credit model redevelopment, you will act as the linking pin for our portfolio between business experts in the bank, quantitative analysts, finance & control and IT colleagues. You help to make it happen. Especially because you, as our Credit Model Consultant, are responsible to enable the team to meet our ambitious goals of building and implementing the new corporate credit risk model.

As a Credit Model Consultant you are responsible for:
With a strong background in credit risk and the use of credit risk models, you are key in forming the bridge to our business stakeholders.
Translate our newly developed models into business application and ensure a good understanding of our models throughout the business.
You will act as a business partner for senior management of various departments globally to discuss regulatory and model changes and their impact.
Supporting in implementation of the credit risk model in our complex IT landscape.
Act as project lead on a variety of sub projects needed to build and implement the model.
You are considered key in aligning our stakeholders and ensuring that our team is able to provide the top-notch quality results meeting stakeholder demands. You will do so in an environment governed by organization complexity with many interdependencies.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Compliance Legal Risk Department brings talented people together for, the quantitative development of several model types from start to finish, data quality checks, analyses to create a new model and the correct implementation of our models. The team consist of 25 to 30 direct (modelling) colleagues and a wide variety of colleagues in other departments of the bank with which close interaction is needed.

You will be part of the Corporate model team, which is responsible for modelling the exposures to Corporate clients originated by both the Dutch (LBB) and the Global business units (W&R). The portfolio covers 150 Billion of exposure and convers the diverse range of client types, structures, products, industries and geographies that are serviced by Rabobank. The corporate portfolio is paramount in the strategy of the bank and the model is essential part of the viability and identification of growth opportunities of this portfolio.
Customer focus, collaboration with stakeholders, providing and enforcing project structure, delivering results and communication power are clearly essential for the role of Credit Model Consultant. In addition, it’s important that you recognize everything in the checklist below:
a Master degree Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related;
proven experience in credit risk analysis and the application of credit risk models within the banking industry;
proven experience in project management;
knowledge of and/or strong affinity with credit risk models, and willing to gain detailed knowledge on models to become center of expertise;
knowledge of relevant regulations around the building, maintaining and implementing IRB Credit risk models;
working proficiency of English is required.

A gross monthly salary between €3,715,- and €5,304,- depending on your experience and seniority (scale 9). This salary is based on a 36 hours contract.
a thirteenth month and holiday pay;
an Employee Benefit Budget (9% or 10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout;
Additional you will reserve personal budget that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career;

100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport. Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance;
a pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3.5%.
