Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Group Brand Manager with minimum 3-4 years of experience in brand strategy, consumer behaviour, product development and portfolio management to oversee, well-established brands like Jan van Haasteren, amongst other specialty projects and new-to-market brands.
The Group Brand Manager will define brand strategy, create and oversee execution of brand plans and manage the product portfolio to meet market demands. The position demands a strong commercial and consumer understanding, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute both short-term tactics and long-term strategies to fuel brand growth. Being fluent in both Dutch and English is a requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute long-term (3 years) brand strategy and short-term (1 year) tactics in collaboration with senior brand manager and local markets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Sales Performance: Proactively monitor sales performance, working with local marketing and sales teams to plan for growth.
- Brand & Portfolio Management: Manage the brand portfolio. Collaborate strongly with key stake holders. Drive the briefs to PD and Innovation team to ensure the launch of new products. Collaborate closely with PD and Quality on optimising existing portfolio.
- Specialty projects: Coordinate the demand for retailer specials within the key stakeholders; sales, brand and PD.
- Market and Consumer Insights: Use insights from market- and consumer research to translate into actionable plans.
- Brand communication: Partner with local marketing teams on getting the brand message across.

Education and experience:
- Education: University degree in business administration, marketing, creative business, or a marketing-related field (Bachelor / Master Diploma)
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Strategic & forward thinking
- Outstanding in long-term relationship management
- Strong project management skills & strong ability to meet deadlines
- Affinity with Jumbo Group products; knowledge of the toy market is key.
