A day as a Food & Beverage intern is incredibly diverse. There are different shifts, so you can work breakfast shift, lunch or dinner. In between, you also welcome the groups in the meeting rooms.
Do you work a breakfast shift? Then it's going to be an early rise today! You welcome our guests and pay close attention to whether the breakfast buffet and drinks are replenished. In addition, you clean up the tables and set them again, because a new couple is already waiting to take a seat.
When breakfast is over, you and your team clean up the restaurant. Make sure everything looks tip-top again. Together with your colleague, you prepare the meeting room for tomorrow's meeting. After this it is already time to have lunch. Time flies by and at 15:00 you can go home.
Today you work an evening shift! At 17:30 the first guests walk in for dinner. You give them a warm welcome and take their drink order. Then you hand them the menu and give them another recommendation. Then you walk to the kitchen to let them know that the guest of table 15 has a gluten allergy, so that they can take this into account. You immediately take the main course from the kitchen for table 8 and serve the plates. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the guests lack nothing!
Today you are in the restaurant, but tomorrow you are behind the bar! Then you can prepare the drinks and cocktails. You haven't done this before, but no worries, an experienced colleague will explain it all to you!
Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark has a tough character that is inspired by the industrial past of the area.
