FinTech business unit – with teams in Amsterdam, Bangalore, London and Shanghai – develops new products and drives innovation to help us continue removing financial friction from the travel process. Team and Role OverviewAs a Senior Product Manager in this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for the Tax Platform product portfolio within the FinTech department.
Your primary focus will be on expanding the range of features and capabilities offered mainly to internal customers - tax and legal teams within Booking.com
- Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product area;
- Lead a portfolio of new product launches as well as product optimisations;
- Define the KPIs for your product, and be the ultimate responsible for its success;
- Research and identify customer, partner, and stakeholder needs to deliver a best-in-class Tax Tech platform;
- Research and identify new revenue opportunities while expanding existing ones;
- Work closely with a cross-functional team and stakeholders to build and operate your product;
- Engage with other product leaders within Booking.com to define and drive the development priorities for your product.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a (Senior) Product Manager;
- A track record for shipping large-scale, successful software products - O2C, Finance, Payments, Billing & Tax - Tax Platforms Advantage;
- Solid experience working on Core financial systems - Integration with SAP - Advantage;
- Solid commercial experience, preferably with a focus on monetization initiatives and Tax calculations;
- Experience working on internal products with close collaboration across UX, Research, Data.
- Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques;
- Ability to communicate optimally across all levels of the organization;
- Strong stakeholder management and agile prioritization skills;
- Experience with Finance and/or Fintech products - Tax Products Advantage;
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and a basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built
