We are looking for a visionary Director & Head of Paid Search to act as the primary architect of our Paid Search offering. This role is for you if you’re driven to connect product strategy with market execution and take full ownership of the department’s commercial performance.

In this role, you are the strategic and commercial owner of our Paid Search division. You will move beyond day to day management to focus on the big picture, defining how we win, how we scale, and how we deliver measurable value to our most ambitious clients.
You will act as the lead advisor to our clients and work closely with other strategic directors to ensure our solutions remain best-in‑class.
Specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Proposition ownership: Developing and evolving our Paid Search product to ensure our methodology, tech stack, and strategic approach are industry leading
- Strategic leadership: Serving as the most senior strategic advisor for a portfolio of top tier global brands and translating complex business goals into high performance search roadmaps.
- Commercial growth: Partnering with the executive team to lead high stakes new business pitches and identifying organic growth opportunities within the existing client base.
- Innovation and roadmap: Driving the adoption of AI driven bidding, advanced attribution models, and privacy first tracking solutions across the agency.
- Stakeholder sparring: Providing executive level consultancy to client CMOs and Marketing Directors, acting as a trusted partner in their business growth.
- Cross channel integration: Working alongside other discipline leads to ensure Paid Search is a key pillar of a holistic, 360 degree digital strategy
Based in our Amsterdam office, you will join a culture of high performance. You’ll be surrounded by experts across SEO, Content, and Paid Social, but you will be the definitive voice for Search. You will also collaborate with our international leadership teams to standardize excellence across markets while maintaining the agility of our local Amsterdam presence.
A strategic Paid Search leader with a sharp commercial edgeWe are looking for a driven leader who combines deep technical expertise with sharp commercial acumen. You should have a proven track record of delivering measurable impact for large scale advertisers and a natural desire to take ownership of results.
While we don’t believe in rigid checklists, the following expertise will set you up for success:
- 10+ years experience in Paid Search: Significant experience in Paid Search, with a proven track record of managing large budgets and complex, multi-market strategies.
- Ownership mentality: You have experience (or the clear capability) to own a service line, from the commercial P&L impact to the strategic methodology.
- Commercial prowess: You are a "closer" in pitches and a strategic grower of accounts. You understand that client satisfaction is rooted in business impact, not just CPCs.
- Thought Leadership: You are active in the industry, staying ahead of Google’s roadmap, automation trends, and the shifting search landscape (SGE, TikTok as a search engine, etc.).
- Executive sparring: You can act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by simplifying the complex and providing the clarity needed to make informed commercial decisions
