You will work at Van Loon Group at the location in Son, an ambitious family business that has been active in the production of high-quality meat and convenience products for more than 50 years. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and quality, the organization delivers fresh products daily through various channels to consumers at home and abroad.
Within the Son plant you will work in a modern, well-organized work environment where cooperation and results are key. As a reach truck driver you play an important role in the logistical process and work together with a motivated team to ensure everything runs smoothly. You will work in a 2-shift system, with working hours from 06:00 to 14:30 and from 15:00 to 23:00/00:00. You are available five days a week, with occasional weekend work.
As a reach truck driver, you will ensure a smooth logistics process within the warehouse. Your duties include:
- Loading and unloading goods;
- Checking incoming and outgoing products;
- Transporting and order picking goods with a reach truck;
- Ensuring a neat and organized work environment;
- And observing hygiene rules.
For this position you have:
- A valid Reachtruck certificate and experience in logistics;
- Command of the Dutch or English language;
- No objection to working in a 0 degree environment;
- Flexibility and willingness to work occasional weekends;
- And affinity with meat (products) is a plus.
You can count on excellent working conditions:
- A gross hourly wage of €15.96;
- 3.4% production surcharge;
- A cold allowance of €2.16 per day;
- 15% shift bonus;
- A working week of 38 hours;
- And special work clothes to work comfortably in a refrigerated environment.
