Mavisoft is a young AI company aspiring to become the world leader in automated asset surveying. We use Artificial Intelligence and Digital Twinning to analyze images and their features, particularly defects in common building materials such as concrete, metal, and composite materials. We inspect some of the world’s most recognized assets, such as Schiphol Airport, Port of Amsterdam, Exxon Mobil, and many more.
In light of our rapid growth into the Scale-Up phase, we are now looking for an AI Developer who will be focusing on testing and optimizing our Artificial Intelligence models that are responsible for detecting damages in images as well as in three-dimensional point clouds.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the performance of our AI models, and making sure that they are constantly being improved with the new data we receive from our clients.
- Identifying new approaches that can further improve the performance of our AI models through data augmentation, as well as pre and post processing methods.
- Quickly recognizes opportunities and develops creative solutions that add to the company's unique selling proposition, this can also be related to components we have outside of AI.
- Conducts quality control of all models and systems to ensure an overall robust infrastructure; this includes overseeing and potentially managing a small labeling team for projects that are assigned to you.
- Making the AI production ready by increasing performance and reducing processing times through improvement of the actual AI pipeline.
Required Skills and Abilities
- A Master or PhD degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering or any other related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience developing and designing Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning technologies and systems.
- You have hands-on experience with deep/machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Strong commercial experience with Python.
- Industry experience with software such as Git, Linux.
- Attention to detail in verbal and organizational communication.
- Able to perform multiple tasks, balance priorities, and meet deadlines; ability to work under pressure.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary agile-driven team.
- Takes initiative and has a high level of ambition, motivation, and passion.
- Must be based in the Netherlands, preferably close to Rotterdam.
Nice To Have/Bonuses
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
- Experience working with 3D Point Cloud Models and familiarity with Photogrammetry and Scene Reconstruction techniques is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with ArcGIS.
- Experience working in a start-up innovative organization.
