TGSS is a suite of software applications supporting satellite manufacturers and operators. They support customers for testing during the AIT phase until launch (functional and thermal testing) and for operating spacecrafts (Flight dynamics, mission planning, orbit visualization, large data analysis, mission control, etc.)
As part of our Center of Excellence, we are looking for a Solution Architect to become a key member of the team, leading the TGSS technical solution in all its phases.
The Center of Excellence accompanies customers in their project from the design of solutions adapted to their needs, through delivery, installation, training, and maintenance until the project end. It works closely with R&D and sales to ensure a full communication loop from the customer to the software developer.
Tasks- Understand customer needs and generate user requirements using Terma’s product portfolio across the Space business area.
- Interface with customers during pre‑sales activities to propose a solution that meets their needs, coordinating with the bid manager.
- Advocate for the customer while bridging requirements with the current solution.
- Collaborate with the R&D department (product owners) and the Center of Excellence to convert the solution into development and assembly/testing activities, in coordination with the PM and the local head of R&D.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Space Operations (System Engineering, Ground Operations Engineering) with knowledge of OpsPrep.
- Experience in operations from the development perspective.
- Experience as an operator for a spacecraft or mission.
- System knowledge of spacecraft and their components.
- System knowledge of satellite communication between ground station and spacecraft.
- System knowledge of satellite navigation.
Experience within spacecraft AIT field would be appreciated.
