ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer at Intelic, you will help shape the intelligence behind our unmanned platforms. Your work goes beyond coding: you will design and deliver software that ensures reliability, autonomy, and precision in mission‑critical situations. Working with experts across robotics, AI, and systems engineering, you will build robust back‑end services and communication protocols, while also contributing to team growth and real‑world testing of your solutions.
In practice, this means:
Design, develop, and maintain reliable back‑end services, primarily in Rust.
Implement communication protocols and APIs (REST, gRPC, WebSockets, ROS, MAVLink).
Write robust unit and integration tests to ensure system stability.
Optimize and manage our CI/CD pipeline.
Collaborate with teammates through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to real‑world testing and field validation of your software.
We are looking for an engineer who is both curious and pragmatic, someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and is motivated by seeing their work applied in real‑world missions. You have a strong foundation in software development and are comfortable working with modern tools and frameworks. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy sharing knowledge with teammates, and are eager to grow alongside a fast‑scaling company. Most importantly, you bring a mindset focused on building reliable systems that perform when it matters most.
This includes:
Proficiency in a systems programming language (Rust, C++, or similar).
Experience with designing APIs and distributed systems.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as gRPC, REST, or robotics frameworks (ROS).
Knowledge of testing methodologies and CI/CD best practices.
Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn quickly.
A team‑oriented mindset with the ability to mentor or support peers.
Languages & Frameworks: Rust, TypeScript (Svelte)
Protocols: ROS, MAVLink, REST, gRPC, WebSockets
CI/CD & DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Cypress
Infrastructure: Cloud‑based deployment and containerized services
You have designed and shipped features that directly improve the autonomy of unmanned systems.
You have improved the reliability and scalability of our back‑end services.
You have actively contributed to team growth through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
You have seen your software successfully tested and deployed in real‑world field operations
