Tasks
As part of the founding team, you will contribute to the entire product development lifecycle;
- Develop powerful, reliable back-end logic, algorithms and internal APIs that support operational decision making in a wide range of business scenarios
- Build beautiful UIs that are a pleasure to use
- Build and evaluate AI agents - as well as build out internal frameworks and best practices
- Develop and improve proprietary machine learning models (if you’re up for it)
- Build, deploy, and optimize robust, scalable data and machine learning pipelines
- Help define the product vision, discuss customer feedback, and shape the roadmap.
- Co-design the system architecture and technical direction of the product.
Requirements
About you
- Entrepreneurial mindset. You’ve built from zero, owned outcomes end-to-end, and enjoy moving from idea → shipped in days, not weeks.
- Product-minded problem solver. You care about UX as much as correctness, translate business constraints into clean architecture, and balance speed with quality.
- Bias to action. You take initiative, make decisions with incomplete info, and raise the bar for the team.
- Clear communicator. You explain technical trade-offs crisply to founders, customers, and non-technical stakeholders; you’re collaborative and low-ego.
Technical Requirements
What you definitely need to succeed in this role:
- Real world experience developing software. Whether you’ve built full stack applications or machine learning pipelines, you know what high quality, well tested code looks like.
- Strong proficiency in Python; concepts like coroutines, async generators, and abstract base classes don’t scare you. Likely you’ve worked in Python for multiple years.
You preferably have proven skills in multiple of the following:
- Back-end development in Python (FastAPI)
- Front-end development in React, Typescript
- AI Agent development and evaluation
- Machine Learning (forecasting)
- Data engineering and orchestration
- Google Cloud
Bonus points if you have affinity with any of these:
- Systems architecture design
- DevOps
- UI/UX design
- Industrial engineering / operations research
- B2B SaaS
- E-commerce
