We are looking for an experienced and pragmatic Legal Counsel Contracting who truly enjoys working on complex local and international legal agreements and understands their crucial role in achieving successful business outcomes.
You will work closely with the General Counsel as part of a growing legal function, supporting a fast-paced, high-tech environment with an international client and supplier base.
In this role, you will focus on the commercial contract practice: drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, from customer and supplier contracts to NDAs and partnership agreements.
You will work closely with Sales, Bid Management, Procurement, and Finance to facilitate deals efficiently while ensuring balanced responsibilities and risks for all parties.
ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with a focus on achieving fair, balanced, and practical outcomes.
Support internal stakeholders by providing clear and pragmatic legal advice that enables business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate contractual risks in a practical and business-oriented way.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve contract templates and standard clauses to drive consistency and speed in contract handling.
Proactively identify and flag potential legal and commercial risks, contributing to a safe and compliant contracting environment.
Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. Or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial contracting in an international environment, preferably within a high-tech sector.
Strong knowledge of international contract law and cross-border contracting.
Excellent negotiation and drafting skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to balance legal precision with commercial pragmatism, helping the business to keep moving.
