Who are we looking for

Are you a data‑driven leader ready to shape the future of banking? Join us as our next Data Analytics Chapter Lead. In this role you contribute as a manager and a data analyst. By understanding our customer’s actions, behaviours, and products you deliver high‑impact data‑driven solutions and tangible insights. As a Data Analytics Chapter Lead:

• You identify new data, trends, and opportunities. Together with fellow Leads you translate this into an analytics vision and strategy
• You are responsible for implementing this vision towards the teams we are working with
• You have a broad interest in data: collecting, transforming, analysing, experimenting, and visualising and of course most important of all, translating data into insights that drive impact
• You maximise the potential of your team and stimulate them to keep developing themselves
• You are a frontrunner in increasing the fact‑based culture within ING
• You embody our orange code in your professional manner: you take it on and make it happen, you help others to be successful, and you are a step ahead in anticipating your colleagues and stakeholders needs

Your competencies and experience

• You hold a master’s degree in the field of analytics, mathematics or econometrics
• You bring several years of proven success in data analytics roles, with a strong track record of delivering impact
• You have strong experience with relevant languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and dashboarding tooling (e.g., Cognos and PowerBI)
• You solve complex problems with ease, uncover actionable insights, and communicate them clearly to drive decisions
• You are able to adapt your leadership and communication style to suit different people, teams and situations
• You have strong organisational sensitivity; including ability to understand the underlying issues, opportunities, and dynamics of a large organisation
• You focus on delivery through collaboration, focused on bringing people together to work towards the same purpose
• You are committed to continuous learning, stay open to feedback, and develop on both the technical and the interpersonal level
• You keep the customer at the center of your work, ensuring data translates into real value
• You have 5+ years of experience as an analyst
• You have 3+ years of experience as a people leader
