As Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the following duties:
You will be supervising the day-to-day operation of a designated section within the kitchen, overseeing all aspects of food production;
Delivering highest levels of quality and precision, preparing dishes in line with recipes and standards;
Maintaining highest levels of hygiene and cost control;
You will act as a role model and mentor to the junior members in the kitchen brigade, guiding and supporting them in their development.
Yotam Ottolenghi's restaurants are renowned London eateries known for vibrant, Middle Eastern-inspired dishes, offering everything from delis to full restaurants, featuring seasonal ingredients, bold flavors, and colorful displays, perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
As Chef de Partie we expect from you:
Recent/current experience in the same position to that of Chef de Partie for at least two years;
A passionate and quality-driven approach to cooking;
Teamwork, being able to work closely with 6-8 chefs on shift;
Experience in inspired Middle Eastern cooking cuisine;
Good knowledge of English language (written and spoken);
Familiar with hygiene code and HACCP regulations;
Ability to work evenings and weekend shifts.
