You will join a newly formed, app‑first product team that is responsible for designing and building digital heat onboarding and delivery flows for Eneco customers.
Responsibilities- Designing backend services that support complex customer journeys without exposing complexity to the user
- Translating business rules and operational constraints into clear, maintainable backend logic
- Ensuring backend decisions are consistent, explainable, and resilient to change
- Actively shaping the technical direction of this new domain, from API design to data ownership
- Designing, building, and owning backend services in .NET for a new digital product domain
- Making architectural and technical decisions that balance customer experience, operational reality, and long‑term scalability
- Collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Frontend to enable simple and trustworthy customer journeys
- Safeguarding backend quality through clean code, testing, and clear API contracts
- Contributing to Eneco‑wide backend standards and best practices through your seniority and experience
- Extensive hands‑on experience with .NET / .NET Core in complex, business‑critical environments
- Strong experience designing and operating cloud‑native backend services in Azure
- Proven ability to work with Azure DevOps (ADO) and fully automated CI/CD pipelines
- Senior‑level ownership mindset: comfortable making decisions in domains that are still evolving
- Strong communication skills in English, able to align technical solutions with product and business stakeholders
