Senior integration Engineer - Team CoE Integration

As a Senior Integration Developer, you'll play a key role in optimising our integration platform. You'll be the link between systems and teams across PostNL.

Dit is jouw rol

As a Senior Integration Developer, you'll help professionalise and optimise our integration landscape. Your focus will be on improving existing integrations, implementing standards and increasing the reliability and scalability of the platform. Apache Camel and AWS are central to this, but your expertise goes beyond that - you see the bigger picture and know how systems can communicate better.

You'll advise teams on integration solutions, guide implementations and actively contribute to developing and improving guidelines and best practices. You'll also work on monitoring, logging, security and performance improvements. You'll be the go-to person for complex integration issues and share your knowledge with colleagues. Because our systems are business-critical, you'll also take part in our on?'call service.

You'll join the Center of Excellence Integration, part of Central Business & IT Services (CB&ITS). This expert team of around 15 specialists - including Integration Developers, Platform Engineers and Architects - is the knowledge hub for integration within PostNL. The team has an open culture focused on collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint innovation. Wednesdays and Thursdays are office days; the rest of the week you'll work hybrid.

You understand how crucial good integrations are for an organisation like ours. You communicate easily with colleagues, think ahead and have an eye for quality. You know how to explain technical issues clearly to non?'technical stakeholders.

You also have the following qualities:

• You have a higher vocational or university degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• You have at least 5 years of experience with system integrations in enterprise environments.
• You have extensive experience with integration patterns and frameworks such as Apache Camel.
• You have extensive experience working on cloud platforms like AWS.
• You have extensive experience with programming languages Java and Python.
• You're familiar with serverless solutions.
• You have experience with CI/CD, monitoring, logging and security.
