As a Senior Workday Extend Consultant, you work within a multi-disciplinary and client-focused team that consists of specialists with different backgrounds. We help our clients to improve their HR organization and get it working optimally by using technologies, like Extend, as an enabler. This ranges from system selection to full system implementations.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Workday Extend Consultant:
- You will manage Extend implementations in close dialogue with our clients, gathering requirements, understanding their needs, and driving the engagement to make the outcome a success;
- Guide both internal and external teams while keeping stakeholders informed;
- Oversee the development and quality across the entire project lifecycle;
- You will be the bridge between HR and technology, so you should be able to speak both languages;
- Use your technical knowledge to navigate developers and translate use cases into tangible deliverables.

You have a good understanding of how Workday works, a problem-solving mindset, and an innovative view of creating solutions beyond what the customer requests. You are detail-oriented and are able to build and lead a diverse team of both functional and technical specialists. You are energized by challenges and use your technical expertise to bring projects to a successful conclusion.
- You have 2-3 years of experience working with Workday;
- Experience with Workday integrations/technical development;
- Preferred - Background in computer science and/or hands-on coding experience;
- Preferred - Previous experience with building applications on Extend or played an architect role to manage Extend implementations;
- You are a team player who can translate requests into actionable tasks;
- You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus);
- You have experience managing or contributing to Extend implementations;
- You are a strong communicator and are able to build relationships and manage expectations in a professional manner.
