Join our dynamic team as a Platform Engineer within the ING Private Cloud (IPC) Tribe, specifically in the empowering ESC (End State Configuration) Squad. This squad, comprised of five talented individuals, plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure of AWX (Ansible Tower) for configuring the global ING infrastructure. Our impact extends further as we contribute to the API-first strategy by developing Cloud APIs, which will be utilised globally by ING.

Role and responsibilities:
As a Platform Engineer, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our technology landscape. You will:
Gain a solid understanding of banking practices or demonstrate a passion for learning them.
Utilise your analytical skills to engage with stakeholders and the product owner in discussing features and stories.
Translate features and stories into software solutions with tangible business value.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of the IT architecture within your domain.
Assess the impact of various choices and translate principles into actionable strategies for your team.
Thrive in a DevOps environment, taking ownership from building to running, including scheduled stand-by duty.
Innovate working processes and product quality through creative approaches.
Embrace a quality-driven mindset and contribute as a valuable team player with excellent social and communication skills (proficient in written and spoken English).
