We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer to join our Hull applications development team in Groningen, The Netherlands.
You will work as a member of a Scrum team developing our Hull Applications. Together with a product owner, the team creates new and maintains existing features.
Your work will include planning and executing tests for new features and regression testing. You will maintain test materials, and develop and ensure quality of our software. You will do manual testing independently but also cooperate with Software Developers and other Software Testing Engineers. You will report the problems you find and give suggestions to ensure usability, reliability and efficiency of use. You will also give some input to our documentation department regarding new features and changes to existing features.
The products are based on our own technologies which we also keep competitive. We have a modern toolset including Visual Studio, Git and JIRA.

We appreciate experience in software testing, preferably in the field of complex B2B systems. Experience on exploratory testing is a benefit. Alternatively or additionally, you can have a strong IT infrastructure background or experience in the domain – advanced use of CAD systems or in marine and shipbuilding industry. You need to be able to learn how CADMATIC software works and understand the end user needs and experience of our system and user interface. Experience of programming or scripting would be helpful in developing automatic testing, but not a mandatory requirement for the role.
You are proactive and analytic, you can see the problem behind symptoms and you can report your findings accurately. We expect suitable technical education and good English skills.
