Group Accountant(m/f/d) based in Amsterdam, Netherlands
Your responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations in SAP, including: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Travel Expense Accounting, Daily bank statement postings
- Support monthly and annual closing activities in line with strict deadlines.
- Oversee Cash Management, including: Preparing supplier payments
- Monitoring customer cash collections
- Assist in preparing and submitting local tax declarations, such as VAT and Intrastat.
- Handle matters related to additional corporate taxes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support decision-making and business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, structures, controls, and reporting — with a strong focus on automation and digitalization.
- Manage payroll processing for Cabka NV and ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors and authorities, providing documentation and support when needed.
- Successfully completed business studies (BA, Master) with a strong focus in accounting
- Working experience in general accounting preferred in an industrial environment or Big Four accounting firm
- Experience in (supporting the) preparation of annual statutory accounts and external audit
- Good knowledge of Dutch VAT and Corporate Tax
- Good understanding of Dutch Payroll and local requirements
- Experienced in handling confidential/sensitive data
- Very good Dutch GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Strong analytical & numerical skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
