How does your work look like?
As a Senior Consultant you will be working on projects for leading Dutch and international financial institutions. In order to optimally support the client, you will predominantly work together with the client's experienced team members, on-site and online.
You will provide advice on quantitative and regulatory components within financial risk management. As an example, your services might include support on the development of models using advanced techniques that also comply with recent regulatory trends or assess client's risk frameworks against the current regulation. Among the areas or your advice consider such topics as models used for capital calculations or stress testing for market risk, credit risk, interest rate risk (“IRRBB”) or liquidity risk. You will also be working on broader subjects such as ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery & Resolution Planning and TRIM.
In addition to work for clients, you will also contribute to the business development of PwC in your area of expertise. You will develop and apply new techniques in the field of risk management, including machine learning, robotics, AI, climate risk and others. Hence, you continuously develop your skills in order to grow professionally.
Who are you?
You have obtained a master’s degree or PhD. with a quantitative background, such as finance, econometrics, mathematics or economics
You have 3 years of relevant working experience in the financial sector, in the area of risk management or modelling
You have experience with leading (project) teams, and you enjoy building relationships with our clients and (international) network
You speak and write English fluently and have excellent communicative and social skills
