Your role
As Financial Controller in Amsterdam, you will be the link between operations, management, and external stakeholders. You take ownership of financial processes and play a key role in professionalizing the finance function.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving monthly, quarterly, and annual closings together with the Accounting team
- Handling complex transactions and external reporting (NL & US GAAP)
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses
- Supporting management with financial insights and decision-making
- Delivering (ad-hoc) reports and analyses, and advising on financial matters
- Improving and optimizing internal processes (AO/IC)
- Acting as first point of contact for the external auditor
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Economics or Accountancy
- Directly coming from external audit is an option!
- Strong communication and analytical skills, with a process-oriented mindset
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is a big plus
- Fluent in English
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
