The Zanders Solutions team has developed a leading Dutch-market bank transaction analytics SaaS platform called Navigator. Our clients, engaged in consumer and SME finance, leverage our software to obtain comprehensive financial insights into their customers.
We are currently recruiting for a Software Developer, with focus on the backend to expand our team.
As Developer, the tech stack you will be working on is:
- Backend: Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy, MyPy)
- Frontend: NextJS, TypeScript
We process bank data (transactions and account information) via PSD2 or file uploads, unify data formats, classify transactions into categories, compute analytics (like probability-of-default models), and provide clients access through a stateless API or an intuitive dashboard with a stateful API. Beyond the Navigator, our developers are also involved in various risk and treasury management software solutions within the broader Zanders team.

Skills to be successful:
- Studies in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of previous software engineering experience (work, personal projects, university, etc.).
- Prior experience with our front- and backend stack.
- Hands-on mindset and team player.
- Willingness to work from our Amsterdam or Utrecht office on average at least 2-3 days a week, with flexibility to work from your preferred location the other days.
