Tasks
- Manage the full debtors function, including invoicing, statements, reconciliations, and collections.
- Ensure accurate billing aligned with freight files, tariffs, and operational charges.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain age analysis within company targets.
- Resolve billing queries with internal teams, clients, and service providers.
- Monitor credit limits and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly debtors reports for management.
- Liaise closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure accurate financial data.
- Maintain professional communication with clients regarding overdue accounts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (essential).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Debtors role within the freight forwarding/logistics industry.
- SAP experience (highly advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
