Tasks
- Lead and engage in every stage of the development lifecycle, from defining requirements to delivering demos and final products
- Work closely with our Software Architects and business specialists to architect the best technical and functional solutions for new features and enhancements
- Drive the growth and success of the entire product team by identifying, proposing and implementing process improvements
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Develop high-quality Java- and Angular-based digital products, ensuring code is clean, well-tested and maintainable. Take full responsibility for the quality and long-term sustainability of the software
- Collaboratively define and design a robust, modular and integrated software landscape
Qualifications
- Academic degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Proven track record of leading small to medium-sized software development teams in high-performance, agile environments
- Strong passion for IT, with the ability to find pragmatic and innovative solutions that maximize business value and committed to evolving both personally and as part of a dynamic team, especially promote a no-blame culture, encourage experimentation and value diverse opinions
- Extensive object-oriented programming skills, with several years of successful experience in Java, Spring, Docker (basics), OpenShift, Jenkins, Git, and SQL. Proficiency with front-end technologies like Angular and JavaScript
- Expertise in Kafka, API Gateways, Microservices architecture, and DevOps practices makes you a highly desirable candidate
- Good knowledge of English
