Trainee Quantity Surveyor

£27,500 - £35,000 + Private Healthcare + Travel Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Progression

This specialist construction consultancy delivers bespoke Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy services across high-end residential, commercial, student accommodation and leisure projects. Working as part of a small, collaborative team, you'll gain exposure to every stage of the project lifecycle, receiving one-to-one support while developing the technical and commercial skills needed to become a successful Quantity Surveyor.

You will support Senior Quantity Surveyors across multiple live projects, assisting with cost planning, tendering, valuations, financial reporting and client liaison. Working closely with experienced Directors, you'll gain practical experience from project inception through to final account, with increasing responsibility as your confidence and ability develop.

This role would suit someone with a Quantity Surveying degree or early construction experience who is keen to learn, listens well and enjoys working within a smaller business where everyone contributes. The Role:

Supporting Senior Quantity Surveyors across residential, commercial and student accommodation projects
Assisting with cost planning, tendering, valuations and financial reporting
Attending client meetings and site visits while learning every stage of the Quantity Surveying process
Developing alongside experienced Directors with increasing responsibility
The Person:

Quantity Surveying degree or some practical Quantity Surveying/construction experience
Strong communication, numeracy and problem-solving skills
Eager to learn and build a long-term career
Organised, proactive and enjoys working within a small team
