We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Scarab Sweeper Driver to work for our client based in Hammersmith & Fulham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Scarab Sweeper Driver looking for ongoing work with a well-established organisation.
The Role of a Class 2 Scarab Driver:
As an HGV Class 2 Scarab Sweeper Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness of roads and public spaces throughout the borough.
Key Responsibilities for the Class 2 Scarab Driver:
* Drive and operate a Scarab Road Sweeper safely and efficiently.
* Clean roads, streets, car parks, and other public areas to a high standard.
* Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
* Ensure collected waste is disposed of safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
* Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and road traffic legislation.
* Deliver a professional and courteous service while representing the client.
Requirements for the Class 2 Scarab Sweeper Driver:
To be considered for this HGV Class 2 Scarab Sweeper Driver position, you must have:
* Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
* Minimum 1 year's HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* Valid Driver CPC qualification.
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
* No more than 6 penalty points (No major endorsements).
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* A reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work.
* Previous Scarab or road sweeper experience is desirable but not essential, as training may be provided.
