Successful candidate for the role of CNC Compression Setter/Operator should possess a background in automotive manufacturing and must have extensive experience of setting and operating various CNC compression spring making machines. The position of CNC Compression Setter/Operator is offered as a Permanent contract on day shift, with competitive rates of pay, Pension and immediate start available.
Duties of CNC Compression Setter/Operator:
* Setting various Compression Spring grinding machines including Bennett and Wafios brands
* Set and operate various CNC torsion spring making machines including Wafios, Itaya PC8/15/38 and Itaya CX15 and Nucoil machines
* Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using precision measuring instruments
* Adjust machine control, including part process
* Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety
* Maintain accurate data/records/documentation associated with your work
* Carry out tasks within allotted time limits
Skills/attributes required by successful candidate for the role of CNC Compression Setter/Operator:
* Extensive experience of setting and operating various CNC compression spring making machines including the equipment specified and the setting of compression spring grinding machines
* Must be fully experienced and conversant with High Volume Automotive Production and Quality Standards
* Ability to read technical drawings
* Reliable, dedicated with high attention to detail
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 8 am – 5 pm, Fri 8 am – 1 pm (39 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £19 per hour (dependent upon experience)
