Refrigeration Support Manager

TXM Recruit is currently seeking a Refrigeration Technical Support Manager to join one of the UK’s leading facilities management companies. This role will focus on leading their Refrigeration and MER (Mechanical & Electrical Refrigeration) support team,.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team delivering MER support.

* Develop MER Technical Advisors (TAs) to become RIHCS and HVAC-aware, improving triage and issue resolution.

* Oversee day-to-day team operations, including the teams shift patterns, workloads, and performance.

* Promote strong team engagement and support continuous professional development.

* Conduct repeat call analysis, root‑cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions

* Produce clear reporting for a wide range of stakeholders

Salary: up to £55,000, depending on experience

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Refrigeration

* F-Gas Category 1 certification

* Proven background in commercial refrigeration or HVAC maintenance

* Prior experience managing a small team/s
