Contract Payroll Administrator
Solihull | £22 per hour | 12-Month Contract
Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re hiring a Payroll Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end payroll processing, including gross-to-net calculations (salary, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions)
- Maintain and update payroll records (new starters, leavers, salary changes, pensions, benefits, leave)
- Perform payroll reconciliations and support general ledger accuracy
- Validate and verify payroll data to ensure precision and compliance
- Monitor and ensure adherence to payroll legislation and internal policies
- Act as a key point of contact for employee and manager payroll queries
- Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Payroll Analyst / Payroll Administrator role
- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator, able to explain payroll processes clearly
- Experience with payroll systems and Excel
