Are you a Property Manager or Commercial Property Manager looking for an opportunity to work with a commercial property management team, where your experience is trusted and valued?
Join an established firm of Chartered Surveyors and commercial property consultants, based in Suffolk, who are known across East Anglia for providing a trusted and professional service to a diverse management portfolio.
They now need an experienced Commercial Property Manager to join the team and report directly to a Director.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio, from single-let units to multi-let business parks, retail parks and industrial estates, and you’ll be the main contact for clients, tenants and their advisers.
The work covers the full range of commercial property management: service charge budgets and reconciliations, rent collection and arrears, property inspections, tendering and managing contractors, vacant units, and keeping the lease events diary up to date. That diary includes rent reviews, breaks, expiries and licences.
You’ll be trusted to agree routine terms within your delegated authority and to suggest better ways of doing things. You’ll deal with your own portfolio and also help keep existing clients, manage stakeholders and win new instructions.
To join the team, you’ll need hands-on experience of managing single and multi-let commercial property, a good understanding of lease structures, service charges and landlord and tenant law, and strong relationship skills. You’ll also need to be organised, confident with IT and cloud-based property systems, and keep a high standard of service.
A property-related degree and professional membership (RICS or IRPM) would be an advantage. This is a full-time role. Salary will reflect your experience and qualifications, circa £33,000 – £43,000 for AssocRICS / non qualified PM and higher packages available for Chartered level interest.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
