The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across a range of electrical and building services systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and associated building services plant.
* Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
* Monitor and maintain critical building systems.
* Support HVAC, UPS, generators, LV systems and other M&E equipment.
* Update maintenance records and CAFM systems accurately.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
* Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
* Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
* 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
* Previous experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management or building services.
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.
* Experience working on critical or corporate environments would be advantageous.
