How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: EA / Business Manager to CEO

    Contract: Permanent

    Location: London

    Flexibility on hybrid set up.

    We are looking for an exceptional, commercially minded and highly proactive EA / Business Manager to act as the right hand to a Global CEO.

    This is far more than a traditional EA position. You will work closely with the CEO across business priorities, strategic initiatives, senior stakeholder relationships and client activity, acting as a trusted partner and taking ownership of key matters on their behalf.

    The successful candidate will be highly credible, commercially aware and confident operating at CEO level, with the judgement and initiative to anticipate requirements, solve problems and drive priorities forward.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as the CEO's right hand and trusted business partner
    Drive and coordinate key business priorities, projects and initiatives
    Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, Board members and clients
    Act as a key gatekeeper to the CEO, managing access, information flow and priorities with sound judgement
    Anticipate issues, identify solutions and use strong judgement to act on the CEO's behalf
    Ensure the CEO's time and priorities align with wider business objectives
    Prepare high-level briefings, presentations and materials
    Support strategic client relationships and senior-level engagements
    Coordinate global activity across offices, stakeholders and time zones
    Provide executive support where required, including diary, travel and communications
    Handle highly confidential matters with absolute discretionAbout You

    Previous experience supporting a CEO is essential
    Legal industry experience is essential.
    Experience operating as a genuine right hand to a CEO, with broad business exposure
    Commercially astute with excellent business judgement
    Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, Board members and clients
    Highly proactive, entrepreneurial and solutions-focused
    Able to operate independently and take ownership without being directed
    Exceptional communication, organisation and attention to detail
    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
