How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a Facilities Maintenance Engineer looking to join a company that genuinely invests in its people, provides proper training and offers a great working culture? This is an excellent opportunity to join an established facilities management business where you'll be part of a close-knit team, work alongside experienced engineers and have the opportunity to develop your skills long-term.

    You'll be based permanently at a prestigious client site in Kings Cross as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, providing a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across the building. You'll work closely with an experienced Manager who will support your development, with training provided both on the job and through external courses.

    The company has a strong focus on developing its engineers from within, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career rather than simply move into another Facilities Maintenance Engineer position.

    Your Facilities Maintenance Engineer Role Will Include:

    Facilities Maintenance Engineer role
    Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment
    Static role, based in Kings Cross
    Electrical, mechanical, HVAC and general building maintenance
