The Senior Consultant SAP S/4HANA SD / OTC will play a key role in the end-to-end design, build, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash processes across implementation and rollout programs. The consultant is expected to bring strong functional expertise, hands‑on configuration capability, and prior S/4HANA implementation experience, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to deliver high quality solutions. The role also supports our growing focus on SAP S/4HANA in both Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments.

The officeOur office in Amsterdam is located on the Zuidas: a bustling area where many companies are based. In our Cross Towers, as many as 1,000 people are welcomed daily. Haven't had breakfast yet? ResponsibilitiesHow can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?
- Design, configure, and test SAP SD functionalities to meet business requirements.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions to understand business objectives and translate them into SAP SD solutions.
- Provide expertise in sales order management, pricing, billing, shipping, and delivery processes.
- Analyze complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, and design system specifications.
- Collaborate with consultants from other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI) for process integration.
- Offer ongoing post‑implementation support to ensure user adoption and system optimization.
- Stay updated on SAP updates and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Where do you start if you want to change the world?
- Completed Bachelor or Masters education, e.g. Business Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in industry or consultancy.
- Experience in SAP O2C implementations, including hands‑on involvement in at least one full life cycle project or equivalent transformation experience.
- Proven knowledge and experience in SAP O2C solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is an advantage.
- An independent, proactive and flexible work attitude.
- Very good analytical and critical skills.
- Furthermore, you do not mind having to travel (internationally).
- Hands‑on experience with the SAP Activate project delivery methodology.
- Skills to work well in a team and have ambitions to grow into a professional within our leading organization.
- Skills to independently identify (follow‑up) assignments with existing customers.
- Skills and sense of responsibility to supervise more junior colleagues and to support them professionally.

- Laptop and smartphone: you are entitled to a laptop and smartphone with a business subscription. *Smartphone not applicable to (thesis) interns.
- Salary: in addition to your fixed salary, depending on EY's financial performance, you may be eligible for a bonus. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (depending on the function) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month.
- Time off: you are entitled to 29 vacation days per year when full‑time employed.
- Sabbatical: the option to take unpaid leave after consultation.
- Birth leave: EY will pay 100% of the birth leave, in case of an additional birth leave EY will pay 70% of the salary.
- Training and education: EY believes it's important for everyone to always have the opportunity to further develop yourself. We therefore offer you the opportunity to take part in various soft & hard skills training, external courses and/or sign up for an additional education. For example, obtaining an MBA to broaden your skills in Leadership, Business and Tech.
- Mobility: Contribute directly to our ambition to reduce EY's carbon footprint to zero by 2025. With the new scheme you choose the most diverse sustainable options via the EY My Daily Travel app or online environment. Think of the use of lease bicycles, electric shared scooters, electric shared cars, flexible lease cars and various subscriptions for public transport. - Bicycle arrangement: finance the purchase cost of your new bicycle from your gross monthly salary (purchase cost amount divided over 12 months) or from your non‑statutory holiday entitlement.
- Pension scheme: you will build up a pension capital directly after your start at EY. Each month the available premium amount is transferred for you in an investment account at our pension provider. You will also have the option to build up additional pension capital on a voluntary basis.
