Your tasks
- As a Cloud Architect within our IT Department, you will be at the heart of delivering innovative Cloud and Digital Workplace solutions. You'll play a key role in both project execution and service operations, acting as a reference expert in your domain.
- Contribute to IT projects through business analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, technical planning, and hands-on build activities.
- Coordinate and oversee external consultants.
- Define and implement support and maintenance processes.
- Ensure quality documentation and smooth handover to operational teams.
- Resolve incidents and service requests in collaboration with support teams.
- Deliver and organize end-user trainings.
- Propose and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to defining and updating IT policies, SLAs, KPIs, and internal controls.
- Support compliance processes including ISAE 3000 SOC reporting.
- Promote and support RTL Group's IT strategy, particularly around Office 365, IAM, and Digital Workplace solutions.
- Coordinate cross-departmental and cross-BU collaboration efforts.
- Proactively enhance your own skills and keep up to date with technology trends.
- Provide training and mentorship to peers and colleagues.
Your profile
- Passionate and experienced Cloud Architect who combines strong technical expertise with a collaborative mindset and the drive to innovate.
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or similar certification.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT and Azure Cloud technologies.
- Proven track record working with Microsoft Azure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments, including cloud migration projects.
- Strong technical know-how across: Azure technologies (Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, etc.), cloud adoption strategies, Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), Intune, Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, Entra), Power Platform and PowerShell scripting, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Cloud App Security.
- Solid understanding of network design and Azure-specific security objectives.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake and/or AWS cloud services are considered strong assets.
- Familiarity with IT Project and Service Management frameworks (PMI PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, ITIL).
- Excellent written and spoken English; French or German are considered assets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Digital Workplace Services (DWS) is an RTL Group central competence center for Cloud Workplace and Identity & Access Management (IAM). DWS is delivering full services lifecycles to RTL Group and its Business Units: Strategic Studies, Governance Policies, Projects and Programs, Expert Support and Advisory Services.
Initiated in 2015, DWS is today in charge of the Group Central Microsoft environments (Office 365, Power Platform, Azure and the related Security Solutions) and Okta (IAM). DWS also contributes to convergence and harmonization of Digital Workplace IT solutions, identities and connectivity across RTL Group Business Units. DWS collaborates with the IS function and the BIM program in its areas of expertise. Finally, DWS is acting as a communication hub between BUs, external providers and Bertelsmann.
