What you do as a communication manager
The communication manager is responsible for creating, managing, repurposing, and optimizing content that aligns with the Water and Maritime business line client segments, specifically targeting
governmental clients, water authorities, water boards, and ports
. You will develop blogs, news items and case studies, support press releases and awards within the Netherlands. Your responsibilities also include creating engaging campaigns, working with clients on project communication efforts, all with a clear link and deep understanding of the Water & Maritime business line marketing strategy. In collaboration with the full marketing team, you will play a key role in engaging the key target audiences, maintaining, and increasing our leading position in the Dutch market.Your key responsibilities will include:
- developing and executing a robust Communication & MarCom plan aligned with B2B marketing objectives
- generating original, high-quality content such as case studies, blogs, press releases, opinion pieces, news items, and social media posts to engage our target audience
- collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with brand messaging
- utilising SEO best practices to optimize content for enhanced visibility and relevance
- maintaining and execute content calendars to ensure consistent communication across B2B channels
- working on projects together with our clients to create engaging content

Hard Requirements:
- bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field
- 6-9 years of experience in a similar B2B Communications or Marketing Communications role, with proven experience in PR, opinion pieces, digital campaigns, and content creation
- Dutch native speaker
- proficiency in English with the ability to tailor content for B2B audiences
- familiarity with SEO tools and content management systems used in B2B environments, same for CRM tools
- can work 32-40 hours a week
- willing to meet with the rest of the team in different offices around the Netherlands at least twice a month and be present in the local office at least twice a week
