Are you a seasoned logistics expert who thrives on making complex systems run like clockwork? We are looking for a Senior Logistics Process Engineer to own and elevate the end-to-end material flow at our Sassenheim manufacturing plant. You will be the bridge between high-level strategy and daily operations, ensuring our inbound, kitting, and distribution processes are world-class.
What You’ll Do- Design, implement, and improve inbound logistics, staging, and internal transport using Lean methodologies.
- Act as the operational lead for new systems and processes, coaching the local logistics team and mentoring junior engineers.
- Maintain strict compliance with GMP/GDP standards, lead non-conformance investigations (CAPAs), and own product impact assessments.
- Conduct Gemba walks to find "on-the-floor" improvements and use data analysis to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
- Partner with senior management and global teams to align logistics with production goals and the J&J Credo.
- Support the creation of process-specific training programs and mentor the logistics team on new system implementations.
- Conduct Gemba walks to identify gaps, address root causes, and minimize downtime or losses.
- Optimize inbound logistics and internal transport using Lean tools, ensuring equipment changes from the Asset Team align perfectly with established processes.
- HBO degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.
- Expertise in Lean tools and process engineering.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in business applications.
- Fluent in English (C2 level).
- A proactive problem-solver who remains calm under pressure, drives accountability, and can lead cross-functional projects using FPX methodology.
- You bring a high degree of accuracy and a "quality-first" attitude to every task.
- You are flexible with changing priorities and remain stress-resistant, supporting your team through shifts in focus.
