Team Connect plays a vital role in this journey: we ensure users can reach out to real estate agents at exactly the right moment, through the right channel, and backed by the right data. We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer with deep .NET expertise to join us in building the systems that make this connection seamless, intelligent, and scalable.

Your job in a nutshell

You’ll join Team Connect as a technical powerhouse, helping to design and scale critical systems that connect consumers and brokers. Our work is twofold: we create features for both real estate agents and consumers. Think of contact blocks that consumers can use to contact brokers, and which also generate leads for brokers. You’ll be a senior voice driving quality, architecture and engineering excellence that’s being heard by your lead. Your ideas and initiatives will be empowered by both the Lead and Staff Engineers.

Your responsibilities

You’ll work closely with our Staff Engineer and Lead Engineers to define and evolve architecture, while being a gatekeeper for our standards, delivery, and quality metrics. Besides that, your role will include:

• Architectural design & collaboration: Co-defining scalable, clean architectures alongside our Staff Engineer, Lead Engineers, and other senior engineers.

• Sharing knowledge: Upholding best practices and guiding fellow back-end engineers through modern .NET tooling.

• Product-tech alignment: Aligning product and technical goals with the Product Manager and UX Designers to ensure sustainable delivery.

• Strategic engineering decisions: Collaborating with the Lead Software Engineer to make strategic decisions and ensure engineering alignment

• Cross-team orchestration: Facilitating cross-team collaboration, especially with platform, data integration, and other feature teams

• Standards & quality: Upholding and evolving our standards in code quality, documentation, and agile processes

• Knowledge sharing & culture: Fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, transparency, and high performance across the team

Your team

Team Connect is a multidisciplinary product team responsible for features that power interactions between home seekers and real estate agents.

Our scope includes:

• The contact form component used across the site to capture leads

• Integration with agent CRM systems to deliver leads effectively

• Support for newsletters and favourites (saved properties)

• AI-powered suggestions based on user activity

• APIs for our mobile app and web platform supporting contacts and favourites

The team works in an agile environment. You’ll be working with Asli and Edgar, the back-end engineers, Reza the front-end engineer, Faéna the UX/UI designer, Bart the product manager, Işın the data analyst and Lukasz the QA specialist. And of course, let’s not forget Matheus, your lead, and Aleix the Staff Engineer, both passionate about empowering you and your initiatives.

This is you

You bring deep experience in building and scaling back-end systems using modern .NET technologies. You’re comfortable initiating complex initiatives and have strong opinions on architecture, scalability, and maintainability. You understand that great teams thrive on trust, feedback, and a shared commitment to impact. You feel confident in your senior role and are now looking for a new environment to put your skills to work and share your knowledge. You’re fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)and currently living in the Netherlands.

Besides that, we're looking for someone with experience in:

• .NET development in modern, cloud-based environments using Azure

• Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

• Distributed systems using event-driven architecture with Azure Service Bus

• Infrastructure as code using Terraform

• Deployment orchestration with Helm charts

• Designing robust, maintainable APIs and asynchronous workflows

• Mentoring and uplifting technical capabilities of peers

• Aligning engineering with product and business needs

• A salary between€5.814,58- €6.486,34 per month, based on a 40 hours per week contract

• Annual bonus of up to 1.5 times your monthly salary
